CANDLE REFILLS

Buying candle refills instead of full candles has several potential benefits:
Refills allow you to customize your candles by choosing different scents or colors without having to buy a new candle each time. This flexibility can be appealing for those who like to change scents seasonally or based on their mood.
Storing candle refills is generally more convenient than storing multiple full candles, especially if you have limited space. Refills often come in compact packaging that is easy to store.
Since you're only purchasing the refill, there's typically less packaging involved compared to buying a new candle with its own packaging. This can contribute to a reduction in overall waste.
Using candle refills can be more environmentally friendly. Instead of discarding the entire candle vessel, you can reuse it by simply replacing the wax. This reduces waste and the need for new containers.
The candle industry produces millions of containers every year, and not all of them are reused or recycled. Unfortunately, some containers can't be recycled. However, by choosing refillable candles instead of single-use candles, you can make a significant impact by helping to change the way candles are consumed and reduce waste. Together, we can make a difference and leave a little less behind.

HOW TO USE

To prepare your glass vessels for reuse, place the glass in the freezer for at least an hour until the residual wax becomes brittle, then push one side of the residual wax pool to release the wick and wax from the glass in one piece and discard.

Clean the glass using warm, soapy water and a soft cloth (no harsh or abrasive cleaning products!). Don’t use cutlery or sharp utensils to remove the wick or wax as this can damage or scratch the internal decoration.

Your glass is now ready to Refill and reuse!

Unpack the Refill, and remove any packaging or wrapping from the candle Refill. Insert the Refill, and place the candle refill into the container, ensuring it is centered and straight.

Secure the wick with the adhesive at the bottom to keep the wick in place. Trim the wick to an appropriate length, usually around 1/8 to 1/4 inch above the wax surface. This helps to ensure a clean and even burn.

Light the candle and allow it to burn until a full melt pool forms across the top. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn in subsequent uses.

Follow general candle safety guidelines, such as keeping the candle away from flammable materials, not leaving it unattended, and placing it on a heat-resistant surface.
